A very lovely, friendly and welcoming lady at the reception on the night we stayed - 30th March 2024. She called to check when we would arrive, I missed her first call but she called back later that night. When we arrived at night for check-in, she was even lovelier in person than I was expecting! We definitely need this kind of service at every accommodation! Thank you :) We found a park conveniently located right outside the hotel even though we reserved a carpark ($30?), but we needed to park somewhere in order to check-in right? The receptionist lady was very transparent about the cost and because we no longer needed the reserved hotel parking, she did no hesitate and deducted this from our booking. The hotel is a little out of the city, but only a few mins drive away, so would recommend if you have a car. Was very quiet despite it being next to a train station? The hotel was new and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The coffee machine even came with a couple of coffee pods! We booked the room with one king-sized bed, and according to the booking, it was for 3 adults. However, the receptionist did tell us they had made a sofa bed too, so that was lovely :) Great value considering it's a new (under 2 years old?) four-star hotel even though it's a little out of the city, and was during the Easter weekend! If you have a car, and want somewhere nice, would definitely recommend this place. Keep up the great customer service and cleanliness of the hotel! I only regret forgetting to check out the laundry room!

The hotel was located within driving distance of the ferry which was our main reason for booking here. It's also about a 15 minute walk up to the Parliament area. You need to drive to get down to the wharf. We were given a free upgrade to a 6th floor suite as the 2nd floor disability access room wasn't great as it overlooked the work involving heavy mechanical diggers that was going on at the railway station. Decent comfort in the room - settee, little table and chairs to eat at. A few bits and pieces in the kitchenette. Withstood 4.7 magnitude earthquake while we were there

This is a newer property with a great location to the Ferry, which is the primary reason I booked the property. The staff was wonderful and the room was much larger/better than I expected. Its a 15 minute walk into town which isn't bad at all and close to the Botanic Gardens, which is a must see if you're visiting Wellington. Also, if you're walking at night its a very safe walk from downtown. Very convenient, clean and again the actual room exceeded my expectations. I was only in town for a couple of nights, but would definitely book this property again.

- The Sebel is a new, hotel/serviced apartment building that has only been open a few months. - Our one-bedroom apartment (Room 211) was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. - The windows had double glazing so it was very quiet. - There is on-site parking, but there were usually free parking spaces outside the building, especially at night. - The apartment is next to Sky Stadium and would be an ideal place to stay if you are visiting Wellington for a game or concert - The staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was fast and hassle-free

We were really comfortable staying for two weeks in The Sebel. The facilities are superb! All the things we need were provided. If we request for something, the staff will try to grant our request. The hotel is located few bus stops from the town center thus the neighborhood is quiet and most of the time people cannot be seen around. If you prefer busy neighborhood, I suggest to choose hotel in the Lambton Quay area.
